Last week was a very productive week for my prayer life. I was consistent in my 4 times daily prayer routine and it seemed as though vacation was a chance to prime the pump a bit. I think I hit four out of four all week long.

This week is study "leave" although I'll be at home by myself. I'm hopeful that I'll have another full week's worth of consistent daily prayer - marking the time by a prayer routine as opposed to another routine.

Last week I was thinking about how much I rely on food as my rhythm. Meal time is the most consistent ritual for me; even more consistent than bedtime or wake-up. I want prayer to be the most consistent routine in my life. Here's hoping that this week will be a step in that direction.

I did all 4 offices yesterday and started with the morning office from the BCP this morning. I'm hopeful that today will be a day of prayer.

I was off my rhythm a bit last week. Only slightly more on track this week. I'm thankful right now that there is something like this blog in my life where I find accountability. At least for me, it reminds me that I need to be abiding to a daily rhythm, unless God chooses to disrupt that rhythm--then so be it. But when I write here, I am forced to truthfully take things into account. It's a good thing.

Made all of the offices yesterday, but I missed morning prayers today. I did the Midday office just now. I've been having a good week in terms of prayer.
