"abide in me as I abide in you..." John 15:4
Today is my first official day back to work. I'll be honest it was hard to break away from Kristin and the boys this morning. I'm only beginning to realize what a rich family time we've had over the past month.I feel such gratitude for the gift this sabbatical has been to me and my family. I know you all had to shoulder more responsibility and bear more of the burden that would be normally expected. I can only say thank you so much to each of you. You have been an incredible blessing to me over the past three months.Today I did the early morning office at home. I prayed the morning office when I got into work. I'm hoping to be steady with the offices all day. They have some new audio options online at:www.missionstclare.com/english/index.html It was kind of fun to integrate some of them into my prayer time. I pray that this next season of ministry will be exciting and fun, filled with God's presence and anointing on our common life, but especially upon each of you as members of our staff. I pray that God will bless you for you faithfulness to Him and to our congregation. I know that I am so fortunate to call you friends!-t
I did the early morning office when I awoke today, and the morning office from the BCP when I got in to work.I'm struggling to get back in the new routine. I had forgotten how fast things move and the draw to be super-productive with our time. I'm trying to arrange my life around health and growth, not productivity. We'll see if that works!
