I did the early morning hours when I woke up today. Just now I did the morning office from the BCP.
I stayed up late writing a piece for the Huffington Post last night... I'm totally wiped out. My tiredness made for really good prayers this morning, and I'm feeling at peace.
I did the early morning office this morning when I woke up. Just now I prayed the morning office from the BCP. I have also been reading the Lenten devotionals from the booklet our church put out. Today's was about being in the world but not of it. The lectionary reading from Titus was about how we should act toward one another. It was a good combination.
Pray for the tsunami and the earthquake that hit Japan and the rest of the countries in which the resulting disaster is going to affect. So many lives have been torn apart and everyone needs to have a helping hand, a thoughtful word or a hug. Lets join together and pray for those who are in suffering.
