I did pretty lousy at prayers last week. The Moltmann conference sort of blew up my schedule. But today I'm rejoining my 4 times daily prayer schedule in the hopes that I will order my life around the scriptures and prayer.
I did the BCP office this morning. Things are heating up with Ahab and Jezebel.
Missed my time w/ God this morning while trying to fix my stinkin' coffee maker. Not cool. But God was definitely present at the "new to me" dela D. Community Group tonight! What a great discussion! (Thanks, Scott! Good stuff.) There was something so refreshing about it :) I know I'm really going to enjoy getting to know this group and sharing life together!
I did the bcp office this morning. Read from Cor. "For God's foolishness is wiser than human wisdom, and God's weakness is stronger than human strength." Amen.
I did the BCP hours this morning, and did a century of the Jesus Prayer. I'm trying to really concentrate on prayer this week as I prepare the message on it. I'm going to try and do a century of the Jesus Prayer 4 times today.
