I did the early morning prayers when I awoke, and the BCP morning office just now. I'm concluding the office with the devotional for our This is NOW! campaign. I read through most of them and they are really great. What a great group of thoughtful people we have at our church.
I have started ending my day with a prayer to God thanking Him for each breath and asking Him to grant me another day. It has changed the way I look at each day!
I did the early morning prayers this morning and then the morning office from the BCP. I also read through today's devotion for the campaign... it was good.
Over the last few days I have spent quite a bit of time in prayer. Lots going on. this morning, I prayed specifically for the campaign. Also, my enneathought for the day was this: As we start a new month, reflect on the progress you are making in your growth. What negative traits are you releasing? What positive qualities are you developing? Remember your Path of Transformation is Authenticity.
I reflected on that this morning as well. I think I am closer to authenticity. Dunno tho...it's hard to judge yourself on that kind of stuff-especially as a 3!
I've had a rough couple of days but I feel God putting a sense of peace over me and I definitely see Him working in my life.
I did the early morning office when I got up, and just finished doing the Morning Prayers from the BCP. Today will be a really busy day for me. Pray for me that I'll stay focused and not get side-tracked with silly stuff or time wasters.
This morning I listened to a sermon about evil and God. (no worries-it was an assignment for my reading group). I also prayed for our church leadership and prayed over the campaign. I have been hearing of a lot of people making sacrifices so that they can help support the campaign. that is encouraging!
I am needing some time to myself to reclaim my own person! Pray that some of that is carved out for me this weekend.
October 31st While in Church during worship on Sunday morning at River Heights I felt a strong anointing come over me. I started to envision many vessels upon the earth and each vessel was filled to some degree with a substance. The next thing I sensed in the spirit was read from Joel chapter 3. I began to read, "Fear not, Oh land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things. Be glad then, you children of Zion and rejoice in the Lord your God: for He has given you the former rain moderately, and He will cause to come down for you the rain, the former and the latter rain in the first month. And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall be full of oil. And I will restore to you the years that the locast has eaten, the cankerworm and the palmerworm. And it will come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servant and the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. "Then right away I could see the vessels on the earth with different amounts of substance in them." I felt led at that time to say, "I have fashioned all these vessels some are almost empty, some are half full and some are filled to the brim, each one is designed to hold my spirit and not until these vessels start to overflow will there by an outpouring to the community and the nations". It is obvious that the Lord's desire is to pour into the Son's of God an overflowing of anointing that the "Whole creation is groaning in earnestly expectation of witnessing." Amen Brother Murray Coulter
Every morning on my walk from the parking lot to the hospital, I say my prayers. This helps me get focused on the day and gives me a chance to ask God to help me make a difference in at least one persons life.
