It's been a few days since I've been able to post. Salina, or rather the two Grandparent's houses seem to be the black hole of technology! I can't get email there and cell coverage is spotty!

So, here's my update. I've been doing OK on the daily prayers. I have always done at least one or two offices a day except one day where I didn't do much of anything except eat.

Today I am hoping to hit all 4 offices.

peace,

Yesterday I did morning prayers and a short compline. I just finished morning prayers from the BCP and I'm hopeful that I will hit all 4 of the offices today.

I woke up early and got to spend some much needed time in the word and in prayer. It has been tough for me after Christmas as well. I hate resolutions, so I never make them....but I have been praying to rediscover my love with God this year. I am in a pretty....blah place....I want to be in love again.

Got up early to get prepared to worship today. It had been too long over vacation. Started Judges and Ephesians. I'll never ceased to be amazed that it was only one generation after the Isrealites entered the promised land, that the people left the way of their God...hmmmm. On the other hand, I felt lead to pray Eph.3:14-20 over our church today, and then we worshiped to the same verses! Awesome! I love those small, yet significant, gifts of encouragement. It was if God said, "Not only did I prompt you to pray, but I hear your prayers, and I am working."

Tim, I so want to be a part of going to the God who came to us (leaving my kingdom behind)... thank you for leading.
