Back from vacation...it's good to be working again.
Over the past two weeks I took a break from praying the hours. I did read a fair amount and prayed often but I essentially fasted from the hours for awhile to see if it would have any measured effect when I return to the practice this week. I'll keep you posted:-)
This morning I prayed the morning office from the Book of Common Prayer.
I did the BCP office this morning. We're reading the story of Absalom usurping the authority of his father and leading a revolution. Interesting stuff. It keep reminding me of the deadly thing ambition can be.

I did 3/4 offices yesterday. I always struggle with Compline...got to figure that one out.
Started the morning with the office from the BCP.

I did the BCP morning office today...hoping to do all 4 offices and order my day with prayer.
