I did crappy at the daily office on Monday and Tuesday...but did the BCP Morning Prayers just now. It was good. We read the passage when Solomon asks for wisdom to rule his people justly instead of riches or long life. I love that text.
I did the BCP hours just now. We read the passage where Solomon is judging between the two prostitutes who both claim that a certain baby belongs to them. Solomon says to cut the baby in half and the true mother won't let him. I always giggle inappropriately when I read that story...what kind of moron would say to cut the baby in half? I know...don't judge.
I did the BCP hours this morning - it was really good. I'm excited about retreating with staff and elders today. I'm looking forward to what go will do in our time together.

Spent time w/ God this morning. Reading in Nehemiah (I love how he writes in 1st person!) and John 15 & 16...such beautiful Truth..."abide in Me."
