I had a sucky week in my disciplines last week. It's the predictable post-Easter lull which happens every year (except in years where my friends get arrested and go to jail... that's a whole 'nother deal).
But, today I've started in again, hoping to rejoin my rule of life.
I suppose we should be thankful, then, that it was a rather uneventful Easter, relatively speaking, of course. I mean there is always the matter of our celebration of someone rising from the dead, which in itself could be said to be "eventful," but not in the same way as someone going to jail.
Been kind of a weird day. I feel like I have maintained a "spirit of prayer" but I haven't been praying the daily office. I'll try and finish the day well and then begin well tomorrow.
