Wow, I have been infrequent around here. Sorry about that. I spent yesterday afternoon in solitude. I miss Katie and Miles, but I was thankful for the time to be alone.
O, how I love the solitude. But I miss my family! Annie Dillard has been an unexpected friend these past few days. I just finished reading "The Writing Life" and really enjoyed it. Here's one of the things she said that struck me.
"Why are we reading if not in hopes that the writer will magnify and dramatize our days, will illuminate and inspire us with wisdom, courage, and the possibility of meaningfulness, and will press upon our minds the deepest mysteries, so we may feel again their majesty and power?"
each week we will have a new post through which to interact. you can post comments as often as you want under each week in order to share what you are reading, disciplines you are engaging in, or encouragement to each other.

Hi ya'll,

Peace,
